Sports Center Associated Architects (SCAA-Cope/MHM-Joint Venture) were hired by UT Facilities Planning to prepare a Feasibility Study for the creation of a new broadcast studio and production facility to meet the requirements for participation in the ESPN Southeastern Conference Network. The Feasibility Study demonstrated to the UT Athletic Department how to renovate two portions of the Neyland Thompson Sports Center into a broadcast quality television studio and production facility.
