University of Tennessee Support Services Complex – Knoxville, TN
Cope Architecture provided design services for a 91,000-SF renovation and addition to create a Support Services Complex to serve the University of Tennessee Knoxville. The UT Support Services Complex on the site of 2000 Sutherland Avenue is an adaptive reuse of the pre-1935, vacated industrial facility and was built to LEED silver criteria.
The complex contains offices, warehouses, workshops, labs and fleet parking for Facilities Services’ functions, as well as offices and laboratories for the Departments of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and Radiation Safety.
