University of Tennessee, Intramural and Band Facility
Cope Architecture provided architectural design services for a new intramural and band facility for the Pride of the Southland Marching Band. The project was divided into two phases. Phase I included the installation of a band tower at the north side of the band practice fields. Phase II included the installation of a brand new artificial surface practice field and the construction of a 2,100 open-air pavillion for use by the band students during practice as well as the general student population. It also included 1,328 square feet of storage with restrooms included.
