Morristown East High School Additions & Renovations
Major additions and renovations were completed while the school was still in full occupancy, using a phased construction approach.
Phase 1 – Cafeteria, 9th Grade Academy & S.T.E.M. Center: Cope Architecture provided architectural design and construction administration services for major additions to the high school, including a new cafeteria and kitchen facilities, a two-story 9th Grade Academy and a S.T.E.M. Center,.
Phase 2 – Administration Wing & Wellness Center: Cope Architecture then provided design services to add a new Administration wing and Wellness Center wing. The 21,848-SF Wellness Center includes four new wellness classrooms, weight training, locker rooms, and football locker rooms/ training suite. The 5,425-SF Administration addition includes a new secure vestibule and new administration offices.
