Cope Architecture prepared a comprehensive study and needs assessment to evaluate the County’s jail and courts needs for 25 years and then evaluated whether to build a new Justice Center, make additions and renovations at the existing old courthouse, or add courts to the existing jail location to create a Justice Center. Additions and renovations to the existing jail were selected.
