Cope Architecture provided full planning and design services to Overton County Schools for the renovation of the Livingston Academy Football Stadium. The design team explored several alternatives to find the ideal solution for meeting the Owner’s cost and schedule requirements. The final design consists of new home and visitor stadium seating with new pressbox, new state of the art scoreboard with video graphics, new field lighting, and a new 7,000 square foot 2-story facility housing concession areas, restrooms, and a weight training facility on the upper floor. Additional project components are a new paved concourse surrounding the football field, a “Hall of Fame” masonry wall for displaying team plaques, a dedicated ticket booth, updated parking areas, retaining walls, and other site work as needed to compete the complex.
